Have you ever been so happy with someone you want to be with them and not think about anything else?
Forget the responsibilities, forget appointments made, forget the fact you're yawning every other word.
It happens often for me. I can still remember instances as a child: Staying awake with a dear friend to grasp hold of every available moment. Falling asleep near my dad as he did work at home.
Stay. Forget. Bask.
Less common is being so supremely happy you could "live off this love". The temptation of running away from said responsibilities and obligations. As if all you ever needed to live is the presence of this person.
I'll felt this way maybe once or twice.
It is usually spontaneous: going about the daily mundane tasks with your love and you say..."let's just go!" Whether is be to your favorite secluded place, or some crazy adventure.
You abandon all for your love, to be "con tĂș amor".
I often sneak away for mini romantic rendezvous with my love. I didn't even realize until someone once asked what I was doing. "I'm watching the lightning storm and reading by candlelight....sipping this tea." I said with a girlish smile and a shrug.
And sometimes, I get the opportunity to run away with the one that matters most.
That is what I'm doing now in Panama.
While in the midst of emotional uncertainty, while in an unstable "life" (no job, no home, too many options to choose one.)... the one I share all with whispered in my ear "come away with me."
I am here. Resting. Learning. Growing. Spending time with my lover.
To clarify, I'm single. There are no men in my life (any that have decided to pursue me, that is.) My first and forevermore lover is Yahweh.
I love Him, and I love to bask in His presence.
I urge you to do the same. You might not have the opportunity to run away...but bask. For an evening, take the time away to be with the one that chooses you even when you spit in His face.
He's calling, "Come away with me, Beloved."

You're never so happy as when you're in God's will.
